Climate Change & Resiliency Chapter

The City of Federal Way is developing a new Climate Change & Resiliency Chapter as part of its 2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update. This chapter will include a refreshed citywide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions inventory, and goals and policies to:

• Reduce Federal Way's greenhouse gas emissions.
• Increase Federal Way's resiliency to the expected impacts from various hazards; both climate change and non-climate change related.
