2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update
The City adopted its 2024 Comprehensive Plan on December 3, 2024 and it became effective December 11, 2024. All chapters of the City's 2024 Comprehensive Plan are found here: https://www.federalwaywa.gov/page/2024-adopted-comprehensive-plan

Update 2024 is what we are calling the Periodic Update to the City of Federal Way's Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is the city’s map for the future and provides the goals, objectives, policies, actions, and standards that are intended to guide the day-to-day decisions of elected officials and staff for the next two decades.
