2024 Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update Status

At a public hearing that concluded September 18, 2024, the Federal Way Planning Commission voted to recommend adoption of the Comprehensive Plan Periodic Update to City Council. The Comprehensive Plan will move forward to the Land Use and Transportation Committee (LUTC) for discussion on October 7 and November 4, 2024. An LUTC action, on moving the Comprehensive Plan ordinance forward to the full City Council, is anticipated at the November 4 LUTC meeting.
